stand-alone utility used to detect and remove specific viruses. It is not a
substitute for full anti-virus protection, but rather a tool to assist
administrators and users when dealing with an infected system. Stinger utilizes
next generation scan engine technology, including process scanning, digitally
signed DAT files, and scan performance optimizations.

At some point in the past, my IE Homepage has been hijacked to an unwanted
website. I have reset it several times, but every time that I reboot, it gets
reset to this unwanted website. In addition, other websites are added to my
favorites. I continue to delete them, but they keep coming back with each
reboot. Both Ad-aware seems to find the hijacking after the fact, but it can't
locate the source of the problem.
