Home page changes and weird pop-ups

ok ive scanned my pc with AVG, Spybot search n destroy, adware and other
various malware remolval software but my home page still changes to
(http://www.topsecuritysite.net/) and i get a pop-up about i need to download
and run some windowsantivirus program, its anoying as hell and it even pops
up as i type on word.

grrr! some herlp from you guys would be appreciated! thank-you

Read through this thread and you'll see how it was handled with a few tools you haven't mentioned.

it sounds that your browser got hijacked. try windows defender avail at
microsoft.com it has an option to restore the browser. as a test you can
also try downloading another browser like avant and see if it also takes you
to that bad site. however, i don't think it will
