home networking

when trying to connect to a computer on my home network i get promted for a user name and password.It only happens one machine though.I have several hooked up and havent had a problem connecting to them or to the shared folders.The computer is vissable but when trying to access it i get the prompt.However the shared folders are not visible over the home net for this computer.All the others are viewable.PLEASE HELP!! THANKS!!

If the problem computer has Windows XP, all that should be needed is
to run the Network Setup Wizard to fully enable file sharing.
