Home networking without hub

I am try to setup home network with windows xp on one
system which is connected to cable modem for internet to
one with having windows millinium edition but unable to
configure it even after running home networking wizard
from windows xp computer and then running it on the other
computer as it only recognizes the network computer but i
am unable to connect to internet from computer having
millinium edition.
