Home networking problem

I have a wireless home network for almost two years. The network consists of
four computers, A, B, C (a Laptop), and D( another Laptop). A is wired to a
wireless router. Today, I found out that while A, B, and C can see each
other on the network group, and access each other’s shared files, D, the
laptop, is not visible in the network group and A, B and C therefore cannot
see D’s shared files.

D can still access the internet through the router connected to A

I have checked the Set up on D (Win XP Home), wireless connection and cannot
find anything wrong with it.

Can some one help?

1. Does D have any shared files or folders?
2. If it does - what message are you getting when you call D from any of the
others.
3. Can D see any of the other computers on the network?

Hi Borge

Yes, D has some share documents, and when I tried to access it, it says,
File is not accessible, You may not have permission to use this network
resources., Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have
access permission. The network path was not found.'

To further clarify the situation,
1. D cannot see other computers in the work group at all, other than itself.
2. A printer is connected to A and up to a few days ago, I can still access
the printer from D and I only found out the problem yesterday when I tried to
access some documents on D from computer B and got the aforementioend error
message.

Hi nesredep Egrob

I just reviewed the event viewer from computesr B, and C and both contain
several error messages to the effect that...'The Mater brower has received a
server announcement from the computer(D) that believes that it is the master
browser for the domain on transpport NetBt_Tcpip { E2A4A233-44ED-48A0-98.
The master brower is stopping or an election is being forced.'

I do not know what it means, hope this will be useful information to you.

Thanks

Cal
