hi, i have recently set up a home networking system on my 2 pc's at home, i
set up a belkin wireless g router on one of the pc's and set up a wireless g
usb network adapter on both pc's. both pc's show they are connected and the
pc with the router installed is working fine, but the other pc with just the
adapter installed will only work on my login profile, the software is
installed on the other three profiles and shows a strong connection, but they
will not sign into msn messenger, or open web sites, it says you do nat have
the authorisation to open the websites, this is for windows xp by the way,
please help

thanks.

Hi,

Seeing signal in the Wireless configuration application, or reading somewhere in the
system that you are connected, does not mean that you actually have a functional
Wireless connection.

A simple way to ascertain that you have a connection is to try to use the Internet
Browser in a Wireless Client computer and find out if you can connect to the Router's
(Access Point) Menus (see your hardware manual for the Router's IP Address, the login
name and the password).

If you cannot connect to the Router this might help.
