I have 4 computers on a small home network. Three are running Windows
XP and one WinMe. From my main computer I can see in Windows Explorer
under "My Network Places" 4 entries. The first is for the entire
network. The other 3 are direct shots to the shared folders on 2 of the
computers. The third computer IS on WinXP and is the most recently
upgraded to XP. Could somebody tell me how to get the shared dirs from
this computer (a laptop) to show up as direct link?

Thanks.

First step is to run the Network setup wizard, then "share" the
resources. Also see that firewalls are not "in the way" which prevent
connectivity.

Thanks, I did not realize that I need to run the network wizard on my
main computer again after installing an new OS on the laptop. Thanks.
