Trying to share files/printers between 3 computers, 2
running Win2k, 1 running XP. Have set folder to share, can
access files on the XP machine but when trying to do same
using Win2k computers I get a prompt to enter password. I
never set a password.
 
Check your permissions. I bet you don't have permissions
for all users only probably administrator rights. Add
permissions for Authenticated Users on each of your shares.
 
Make sure all computers are in the same workgroup and that all useraccounts
exist on all computers. Got File- and printersharing loaded?
