Home network Windows XP

Attempted to setup a home network between two Windows Xp computers through a HUB. All my attempts result in the computers not being able to recognize each other. It would appear that some small thing may be inhibiting my computers. It could not be microsoft! Need help!
 
Mike,
I found that the home edition would want me to use a bridge for the hub. I would delete the bridge. At that point, the network resolved for the computers attached. Also, check your drive shared.

Thanks Roy. My problem still exists with or without a bridge connection.
