Home Edition means

I have a laptop pre-installed Microsoft Vista Home Premium with service
pack1,
So my question is what can I use for this version,
Does it mean you have to use in the home only or if I am employee I Can take
my laptop to the work and use it in my office also,
Can I install it office and work with it at office.

It comes down to how you would connect to the network at work, if at all.
Home Premium does not support joining "Domains." If you don't need to join
a domain at work, then you should have no problem. Even if your work has a
Domain network, you should still be able to get an internet connection. The
Home, Home Premium and Business edtitions are about the target market, not
about legal restrictions on where you can use them. If you do want to join
a domain at work, then you could git the $100 or $150 Ultimate upgrade pack.
