hobbicolors.com review: 4 color printer = "hot", 6 color printer ="not"

I haven't posted for a while. I assume that all the main characters
are still here. Measekite, Frank, Burt, Dan G, a teacher, a retired
HP employee, TJ, Talyisian and etc.

Well about a year ago I posted that I tested an i960 canon printer (6
color printer) with hobbicolor ink. I was disappointed with the
results. The photos it printed was not acceptable.

However, a few months later, the same ink was tested on a 4 color
canon printer. Wow! It printed incredible. I'd say it was OEM
quality. That was without any software modification. Actually it was
tested by hooking up the camera directly to the printer. (No computer
was used.) If anybody has a 4 color Canon printer you have to try
hobbicolors.com ink.

My point is that after market ink is awesome if you can find the right
ink company for the right printer. As in this example, hobbicolor is
awesome for the Canon 4 colors, but terrible for the Canon 6 color. I
still haven't found a company that has OEM quality ink for a 6 color
Canon printer.

Any recommendation for a 6 color Canon printer (without color software
to correct the color.)? I know that many people recommended that
color correction software program is necessary, however 99% of the
general population doesn't even know that a color correction program
exist. Hobbicolors.com works perfect with the 4 color Canon printer
without software correction program. So there has to be some company
out there that make 6 color aftermarket ink that works perfect with
Canon 6 color ink.

PS. Measekite, if I remember correctly, you own a 4 color i4000 Canon
printer. You really need to try the hobbicolors.com ink.

Totally invalid. I spoke with that company. They were nice. They did
tell me they cannot disclose what they were selling. That they can
change their source of ink at any time. Basically you have no assurance
about what you are getting so even if you get something you like there
is no guarantee of any consistency.

Canon ink works in 4 color, 6 color, 8 and 10 and is consistent.

I do not want to increase the risk of a head clog nor do I want to
increase the risk of fading. I like to know what I am buying.

Lets stop this lying charade right now before it goes any further.
You, meashershithead, haven't posted using this addy for a while.
You're not fooling anyone.
Got it?
NOW GIVE IT UP LOSER!!!
Frank

Frank,
grow up. Measekite and me are 2 different people.

I do want to thank you for recommending hobbicolors. They really have
awesome 4 color ink. I just wish they sold the ink in 16 ounce
bottles. Even the 4 ounce bottles get used up really fast.

Measekite,

You still haven't changed. One thing you have to consider is the cost
of a new head for your ip4000 and 5 refills is still cheaper then 2
sets of ink.

BTW did you know that your ip4000 is worth about $300.00 new on ebay.
After I found of that hobbicolors prints so well on 4 color canon
printers, I've been looking to buy a ip4000 for myself.

Dear God, I just suddenly remembered your name...

PLONK! (without even bothering to read the rest)

Taliesyn,
First, sorry for misspelling your name. I remember that you are an
advocate for another after market brand. So sorry for speaking highly
of hobbicolors.com. I probably offended you. Actuallly, how does the
aftermaket ink brand that you support do on 6 color canon printers?
Maybe I can purchase from your vendor.

A Canon rep stated that basically any generic ink will print as well
as Canon's OEM ink. I use a IP4000 and have never used OEM ink. I can
not tell the difference between OEM prints and AM ink prints. The only
differnce is that the AM black ink is darker and better quality.

My IP4000 is just a toy for me. When I want quality photo prints I use
my Epson.

Mr. Aftermarket Ink,

Wow, I can't believe that you are stating Epson printers print that
much better. I was thinking about spending the $300.00 to but the
IP4000 off ebay.

Could I ask you what model Epson printer you have?
What brand ink are you using with your epson printer?

I'm still shocked that Epson can print that much better.

thanks a lot.
