Hit Counter

Hello I used Steve E's Hit Couter Utility and stored my gif in Images then
inserted the web component Hit Counter using the custom image choice out of
the images folder. I Published through FP using FTP and all I see is the
litlle box with the red x Did I do something wrong? the url is

You must publish via HTTP mode when using FP components such as the hit
counter.

Check with your host, have them reinstall or check the extensions for your
account (you can also do that through your hosting control panel, or should
be able to eg HELM, cpanel etc).

That utility only makes the images, it still uses the FP counter.

Is that the one on 95isalive.com? (the one that create the gif of the
counter numbers)?
