Although Internet Options shows "days to keep pages in history" is set to 12 (and applied) only 'today' is shown

If you are running McAfee anti-virus, turn off the ActiveX part of Internet

I am using Norton antivirus and did reinstall it because liveupdate did not work automatically (still doesnt). No history problems before reinstall. Rather a novice so detailed help would be appreciated pleas
