How do you set up windows so the history of the last
viewed web pages doesn't show up?? Every time I go to a
search engine to search when I type the first letter the
box populated with all the old search words. How do I stop
this from happening using Windows 2000????

- Open Internet Explorer
- Click on Tools
- Select Internet Options
- On the General Tab, click on the clear history button

That should clear all the previous searches you did on the
internet.

Brian,

Within Internet Explorer go to:

1) Tools-->Options
2) Go to the Content tab
3) Click on AutoComplete
4) Uncheck all the check buttons so that it doesn't remember previously
entered field information such as search strings etc
5) Click on the buttons to get it to clear the information that it has
saved.

HTH,
katherine
