History not working

Hi People
i am having trouble with my history, i am runnung windows xp and for some
reason my history is not recording.
it is all there in the address bar but not when i click history, i have
tried various things, and checked in internet options and also in the
registry to make sure number of days is set to a ammount but it stiil not
working, any other ideas would be most appretiated

are you using an older version of mcafee virusscan (version 6.x?) if so,
try turning off scanning of active x, but make sure scan all files. i used
to have this problem.
