History Folder

I have been trying to delete my history information and my computer will not
let me does anybody know what could be causing this problem.

Are you using the supplied methods? Open Internet Explorer, click on
Tools, Internet Options, General, and click on Clear History

Yes, and I even browse to my History folder in windows explorer and tried to
delete that way but nothing happens.

What are the permissions on the folder? R-click on the folder and select
properties, Security. Do you have all permission to read, write and delete?

The read only box is unchecked and the hidden box is grayed out so
everything appears to be good.

YES, NOTHING DISAPPEARS.

I believe at this point I would use/create another Administrative
account and then try deleting. Something seems a bit awry with the one
you are using.

Try logging in as administrator using a different account and see if
that will let you delete the files.
