History files

I have lost the history files from the address bar. How can I get them back?
Running Win XP Pro, When I type a URL it saves only till I shut down and is
gone when I reboot. I can't find any info on this from Help files or Google

Hi,

TweakUI installed? If so, see if the option to clear document history at
logoff is enabled in the explorer options.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. If you're referring to web
addresses that you manually typed into the address bar not being
retained then you might want to try the following:

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Internet options.
On the Advanced Page uncheck "Empty Temporary Internet Files when
browser is closed".

Keep in mind that you now have to manually delete your TIF's.
