History file

I have Windows XP home edition on my laptop. With Windows
98 SE the Windows folder contained a History folder...in
XP I have not been able to find this folder, can you tell
me where it might be hidden at or has MS removed it
completely from the system? Thanks in advance for help

The way you normally access it is by clicking History on Internet Explorer's toolbar. That hasn't changed. But where the info for this is kept has. Type in Start Run
%userprofile%\Local Settings\History

The history folder is there, you just didn't look in the right place. Try
Documents and Settings/username/Local Settings/History.
