History

Has anybody else had a problem with IE6 History? I have
been on the better part of today and my history folder
(C:\WINDOWS\Temp\History\History.IE5)is empty except for
the index.dat file.
This is getting a little frustrating and I can not find
anything in the knowledge base, either.

I am trying to figure out why pages are not going into IE
history and how to fix it.

Hi,

Have you set any policies or restricted the history settings in Internet
Explorer in any way?

Not that I recall, but tell me more about the policies. I
read an later post about a button being hijacked and the
guy mentioned policies. In the meantime I am going to
switch back to my XP drive and see if I can do something
with it.

If this is WinXP Pro, then start/run gpedit.msc
