Hijacked home page

A web site called "about:blank" has somehow installed itself as my home page in Explorer and I can't get rid of it. Thanks

Try all of the following programs to check for and delete any spyware that may be on your system:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

You could look in Regedit for:
"\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Start Page"
and change to your preferred.

Thanks for the info, good to know but does not work. the start page in regedit reverts back to the about:blank site on restart. I've installed spyware but still the problem remains. Thanks anywa
