I am riddled with Adware. I have NoAdware and it is not cleaning everything
along with Norton Antivirus. Now my IE browser won't go anywhere. I tried the
hosts file but that didn't work either. Any suggestions? THANKS!

if you can download adaware 6 or spybot search and
destroy, that would help. if you cant download them, go
to thestore and get an issue of maximum pc magazine those
two items are on the cd in the magazine.

Along with the other advice run these:

Bazooka Adware and Spyware Scanner

If all else fails run HijackThis. Post the log to one of the specialty
forums, _NOT_ this one:

After your system is clean use these programs to help keep it clean:

Spywareblaster

Spywareguard

IE-SPYAD

Check the system for viruses too:

Online and Downloadable Virus Scanning:

Bit Defender Online Virus Scan:

Symantec Online Virus and Security Scan:

TrendMicro:

Panda ActiveScan

McAfee Stinger, Downloadable Virus Scanner:

Make sure you have a firewall active at all times. If nothing else use
the one built into XP, but there are a variety of free third party ones
that do a better job from Sygate, Zone Alarm or Kerio.

Sygate Personal Firewall

Zone Alarm

Kerio Personal Firewall

Lastly check your system for vulnerabilities. Make sure you have all
the latest security patches from Windows Update too.

Websites which will check for vulnerabilities:

Browser Security Tests:
