This browser hijacker (mkMSITStore:C:\WINDOWS\start.chm::/spplain.html) just WON'T GO AWAY
I'm constantly up to date with windows update and norton systemworks 2003. i have installed spybot and pestpatrol and spyhunter. I've cleaned files and folders and purged all norton protected files to no avail
CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found this information on a help site using the search term
"spplain.html" at Google:

Get "HijackThis" run it and take out these files.

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page =
mkMSITStore:C:\WINDOWS\start.chm::/start.html

Me again. To get HijackThis, go to www.spywareinfo.com. Also check out
their forums because the people in there are awesome in the depth of
their knowledge about spyware.
