The title of this Newsgroup in Vista Mail is displayed in red although there
are no unread or new postings (I checked three times) How do I change it to
black, so that it shows up red again when it is supposed to?

I don't think you can, but it will probably straighten itself out after a
while.

One thing to try is go to View | Current View and uncheck 'Group messages by
conversation'. Sometimes WinMail will hide a few messages with that
checked.
