Higher Screen Resolution for Single Program

I have a user who is running an Access database. At her currentl resolution,
8x6, she has to use the mouse to scroll the windows so she can see everything
in the program. Very frustrating.

If I up the screen res to 10x7, her application's windows are great. But
she prefers her desktop to remain at 8x6 res.

Is there a way I can make this one program only run @ 10x7 and then convert
back to 8x6 for everything else? I'm thinking batch file but how to change
screen res??

TIA,

GrH in Cols.

By using a vid card, whose supplied software/drivers has the facilities to
set a number of vid.profiles, you can then change with a hotkey or menu
select.
Failing that redesign the access db to allow for your prefered resolution.
800*600 is a low resolution, these days, and may not be supported by some
types of monitors.

DL, using a macro via the vid driver is exactly what we'll do then. Thanx.

Another thing you can do - is to get a video card that supports dual
monitors. I've bought these for about CDN$50 (Matrox G440). You can set
the resolution independently, then simply place the apps on the screens with
the resolution you want.
