HI All,
I recently reinstalled Windows 2000 Professional into a
clean formated drive.

Ever since my internet does not work...I called the
service provider and they see that my computer sends data
via the cable modem upon Windows loading, but I can't
access the internet.

I looked at the Packets Under "Local Area Connection" & it
shows Packet Activity of 3000 or more "Sent" and only
5 "Received" after only 2 minutes connected.
I also tried connecting through another computer, with the
same modem and it works fine.

Can someone please help !!!!

What kind of modem? An Ethernet DSL/Cable Modem?

Something's wrong with your cable, your NIC or NIC driver. Try updating
your driver, swapping cables, etc.

To answer your questions,
I have a Cable modem ...I'll try reinstalling the drivers
and switching the cables later on tonight.
