High CPU Usage

Hi,
Recently I've been having some trouble with a task called System, it was
consuming above 30% of my CPU, after some hours of testing, scaning and
searching I realized the problem was caused only when the Windows Media
Player was active, wondering if only the WMP caused trouble I started
checking other players, iTunes, RealOne, and Adobe Audition all gave the same
problem.
Up this moment my only solution might be formating my computer... but I
don't want to do so until I have no other choice.

Any help will be greatly apreciated.

Hi,

What version of WMP do you have..?
Might just keep itunes and WMP and toss the others and see if there is any
change..?
May just need to experiment a bit..
Is your computer free of malware and other badies..?

I have run HJT and have not found any problems on my system with the above
mentioned apps installed, use NIS 06 too..

I've tried every antispyware, trojan detecter and virus detector I have
access to, all of them say my computer is fine, and already tried uninstaling
every audio program I got, but even YouTube gives me problem.
