how do i hide the registry from prying eyes?
running xp pro in an NT environment. on our NT machines
the registry cannot be seen by those without local admin
rights, can this be done in XP?
 
Yes, by disabling REGEDIT via GPEDIT.MSC for XP Pro systems, or other utilities for an XP Home system. If you need to apply this restriction to specific users, you may want to see www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities, Windows XP Security Console.
