Hide Outlook 2003 icons

I read that when Outlook is minimised I should be able to
right click on the icons in the task bar and hide them to
display only the Outlook icon in the notification area.

It doesn't work on my PC! (Sob, sob)

I am using Windows XP.

Any ideas?

When you right click on the Outlook icon in the system tray, you can select
the option to "hide when minimized." Does this not work for you? Ensure
that your system is not hiding the system tray icon if you are using Windows
XP.

Thank you Milly. I was right clicking on the minimised
icon not on the icon in the System tray. And yes I
couldn't see that one because of course it was not being
shown. All sorted now!
