Does anyone know if it is possible in Outlook 2003 to only show the naivation
pane or folder list in specific views? I only need to see the nativation
pane when I am in my email so I can move from folder to folder. When I am in
the calendar or contact views the navigation pane just takes up screen space.
Is there a way to only display it when I am looking at my mail and not in
all the other views?

It is not tied into views but use ALT+F1 to toggle it. Outlook 2007 has a
minimize option for the Navigation Pane as well.

Is there anything permanent to say when I am looking at mail I do want to see
the pane, but when I am in my calendar and contact I don't>
