Hide Headers/Footers

More information would be helpful.

If it is the first page the "different first page" option
on the page setup>layout tab.

You can also use a conditional field in the header and
footer. For example if you don't want the header on page
4 of a 10 page document you can use the following field in
the header and a similar field in the footer:

{IF {PAGE} = 4 """Your header/footer text" }

Field code braces {} are entered with CTRL+F9
 
Thanks Greg, you solved it for me, I just wanted to hide it on the first page (the front cover) of a 44 page doc.
