i have a quick question
If i have multiple accounts set up on an xp machine, can i hide folders from 1 account to another

Also, does anyone know of any freeware that will password protect a folder? Not encrypt all of the data in it, but put an access password on a folder

thanks in advance

I wanted to hide a folder and/or some sub-folders with XP, but I
tried & couldn't figure out how (probably not possible with XP, but I
could be wrong).

I looked for a program to do this with, but couldn't find one for
free. The best I could come up with price-wise, along with ease of
use, is a program called:

Hide Folders XP

It uses password protection. It costs $24.95. Just do a search on
the Interent & you'll find their web site. (you can get a free copy
to see how it works, but no password protection with the free
version).

I do not know anything about using it with multiple accounts. They
answered an email I sent to them quickly though, so ask.

I use it to hide some selected JPG picture containing folders, but doc
folders will hide too.
