Is there a way to mask/hide/password protect certain contacts. I do not mind
entering the password to certain contacts, but I would prefer not having to
enter the password for all my contacts each time. Thanks Mike Sharp

What type of account? Exchange or POP3? Are you looking to hide them from
local users or network users?

Roughly speaking, without any information, I'd put them in a PST in a
Contacts folder and password protect that PST. Open it when you need to get
to the particular contacts, close it when you don't.

POP3 account. Not a network account. I'm worried if I ever lose my PDA...

So I should have 2 different pst files. I for sensitive and password
protected stuff, the other general usage. POP3

So, you aren't worried about data in Outlook, you're worried about data
synced to your PDA?

If the data is sensitive perhaps get a Hosted Exchange account and
Smartphone that supports remote wipe.

Not really. The PDA allows me to mask individual contacts if the private
button is checked. I was hoping that I could find such an option on my
Outlook 2003. This would make me more comfortable when my Outlook is running
at the office and when I am transporting pst files on my flash drive.

Click the "Private" check box at the lower right of the contact form.
