Is there a way to hide an appointment in a public calander with Outllook?

We are using Outlook 2003 in combination with Exchange 2007.

Tnx in advance!

I'm stepping in a little late, however I am curious... Why?

I am thinking that if a meeting is marked "Private" sensitivity it will not
show for anyone but the creator. (I have not tested this though).

Do you have someone swearing up and down that they placed an
appointment on the calendar and no one can see it? If so, you
could check to see if they have set themselves to use "PRIVATE"
on a global setting.

Setting options Globally causes ALL emails, including meeting
requests, to be set to a setting of your choice.

- Select your TOOLS menu
- Select OPTIONS
- Click the E-MAIL OPTIONS... button
- Click the ADVANCED E-MAIL OPTIONS... button

Near the bottom of the window where it says "When sending a
message" there is a box for SET SENSITIVITY, click the box
and select NORMAL (instead of Private).

- Click OK
- Click OK
- Click OK

Or do you have someone that wants to put hidden meetings in
a public calendar?

Thnaks for the the info!

The reason is indeed that someone want's to use only the public agenda,
ommiting his one private agenda.
I've tried to mark the apointment as private but the only thing that changes
is that other users can see that i've marked the appointment as private, the
details are still visable.
