Hidden Start Menu Files

My brother hid some of my start menu programs (right clicking them and
properties, then hidden) thinking that he could easily get them back later
on. However I do not know how to get them back and I do not have shortcuts on
my browser for them so I cannot use them. Can anyone help me get them back? I
have the view settings in my folders to show hidden folders, but it doesnt
seem to affect my start menu

Hi, the icons on your start menu are really just shortcuts in two normal
folders in your system.

Leave the setting to show hidden folders on, and right click on your start
menu. Then select 'Open All Users'.

The hidden folders/shortcuts will be the ones that look semi transparent.
Just reset them in their properties by unflagging the hidden property.

If the shortcuts you want are not there, then right click on start menu
again and select 'open'... that will open the folder containing shortcuts
that only you see when you log in.
