Hidden shares on XPHOME

I need to access C$ from a remote PC to a XPHOME but
there is always error. To normal shares i can access.
Why can't i see the group policy object in the XPHOME?
Is it tipical in this version or is it a problem in my
machine?

I'm afraid it is typical for XPHOME. If you run a network, XPPRO is
recommended as "Group Policy" is not supported in the HomeEditon.
If you have access to the computer locally you could the share C$ manually.
