Hidden Folders

I am trying unhide my hiden folders but when I go to folder options in
control panel then the view tab there isn't an option to show hidden folders.
Only restore defaults or reset all folder options. Any suggestions how I can
unhide these folders!!!
The folders I'm looking for show up in search when I opt to choose search
hidden folders.

you are looking in the wrong place,open a windows, then goto tools, folder
options, then view, then look for the option "show hidden files and folders"
there is also another one saying hide operating files, be careful with this
one as you may delete important files here, hope this helps pete ;-)
