Hidden Folders FP2000

I run my site from 2 different pc's in 2 locations. I have
2 discussion webs included in my site. I open the web from
the remote host and publish to a new folder on the local
pc (I am assuming I also publish the messages posted on
the discussion web) and then work on revising the site.
What is the effect on the discussion web pages, when I
publish the revised site, do I overwrite the existing
discussion web on the host possibly losing recent message
posts? Hope this makes sense!

Unless you change the any discussion messages on your
local copy, publishing Changed Pages Only back to the
server shouldn't publish those messages.

However, if FrontPage asks whether to delete any
discussion pages on the live server because they don't
exist in your local copy, you should reply No.
The "extra" pages are most likely new posts.
