Hi, when viewing folders in "My Pictures" in thumbnail and filmstrip views
the names are hidden (i.e. the names are missing underneath the folders)
in other views (detail, icon, tiles) the name is displayed as normal
alongside the folder

Does anyone know a registry tweak to correct this problem

TIA
Chester

When you are in "My Pictures" folder, click view, choose details... check the details
you want. Do the names come up?

Change the view to something else. Then press the shift key and switch back
to filmstrip. Pressing shift will toggle show/no show for file names in the
filmstrip view style.

Change to a regular icon view, then back to Thumbnail with the shift key
down while you do it. This toggles the display of names on and off
