hidden files can't be displayed

Hi all. 1 of my office pc was infected with virus which i believe i have
removed it. However the hidden files in my folders could not be displayed
even though i enable the show hidden files and folders option under folder
options. I have also set dword checkedvalue as 1 under
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hid
den\SHOWALL, but to no avail. How can i enable the display of hidden files
and folders? Thks in advance.
