Hidden Drive

I have accidently hide a drive. I no longer use a zip drivem which was G and
I could never get it to delete, so I somehow hide the drive. Now I have a
Seagate removeable flash drive which has been assigned g. I can not access
it in "My computer". How can I restore this letter, as I also can't seem to
assign a different letter to the flash drive.

To change drive letter click the following with the flash drive connected.
Control panel
Administritive Tools
Computer management
Storage
Removable storage

You will then find it right click and change drive letters.

Easy as that - good luck!

Did you try assigning a different drive letter in Disk Management? Right
click My Computer | Manage | Disk Management. Highlight the flash drive in
the right pane, right click, Change Drive letter and paths.

Download and install TweakUI, one of the MS powertoys, from here.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

That has a section for hiding/unhiding drive letters.

Sorry, that does not work. I can see the seagate under the removeable
storage, but there is no drive assigned.
