Hibernation

When clicking to shut down my computer, 3 boxes appear as
Standby----Shut Down (?) and Restart. The Standby box is
dark and I can't put my computer into hibernation. I'm
running XP and the reinstall did not fix this. Please e-
mail me. Thank you
 
Hi,

Your computer should be configured to support
Hibernation. Contact the manufacturer of the computer to
find if your computer supports hibernation.
