Hibernation

The hibernate option does not appear on my Start->Turn Off Computer menu. I
searched the Help and Support windows option and I found that I have to go to
Power Options, to the hibernate tab and then click on Enable Hibernation.
This was already done, and I know my computer supports hibernation because
it's set up to hibernate automatically. I tried playing around with all the
options but I saw no change, I cannot manually put my computer into
hibernation. Can anyone help??? Does anyone know what might have to do?

Press your shift key at the turn off menu and look at the standby button ;-)
