Hibernation takes a long time

My computer hibernation toakes about 90 sec to hibernate. It used to be
faster.
Recovering from hibernation is very fast, about 10 secs.

I am using a Thinkpad T43. 1GB RAM with 60GB hard disk. CPU speed is 1GHz.

Can anyone help?

Did you ever get a reply? My hibernate takes now minutes (it used to be
fast) - and I would be interested in anything you learned about it (or
anybody else that has)

Hi Julian,

No I did not get any reply. So I'll have to use my notebook without the
hibernation feature.
