although this a known problem, can't understand why it isn't yet fixed

if in disk cleanup we mark to delete hibernation files, why once cleanup'd
the disk the hibernation feature dissappears from shutdown options

if this happens (always happens) i know that i can enable hibernation under
a dommand session
run cmd and when prompt appears type powercfg hibernate on

If you intentionally delete the Hiber files in disk cleanup,
wouldn't that mean that you don't want Hibernation ?.
Therefore, what would be the reason for having Hibernation
in the shutdown options !

BTW, I use Enterprise & Business and this doesn't happen in either
of these flavours.

No, i love hibernation, but i like to maintain my disk in the best
conditions possibles, thus i retrieve free space as son i can
it is enough the wasted space due to logs and temps files
the fact to delete hiberfile.sys don't implies that i don't want to
hibernate
eery time i launch my XP always i delete the Cista pagefile.sys and
hibernate.sys
although y know that when i launch Vista his pagefile will be recreated
again, and that doesn't tell to Vista that i don't want pagefile to be used
or created
