hibernate.

hello folks i have win xp.problem is hibernates when i have hibernate turned
off.well it would not be so bad but after hibernates it requests me to log
back in with password which gets annoying when wathing a movie it hibernates
on me or just sitting waiting on somehting.i went into control panel and
power options and turned it all off any other way to make it go away.it is
really get under skin i would thank any options that i have not
tried.thanks......

Are you sure it's not going into Standby instead?

Check the Power Options control panel and go to the Hibernate tab. Make sure
Hibernate is disabled. Also on the Power Schemes page, make sure "Never" is
selected on "System Standby" and "System Hibernates".

Also, on the Advanced tab of the power options, uncheck the box that asks you to
prompt for a password when coming out of standby.
