Hibernate

Hi
I have AMD Athlon 2500 on a VIA K7VM4 and Windows 2000.
The problem is that the computer can not be put into hibernate.
In the Power Options tab there is simply no Hibernate tab.
How can I activate the hibernate part of Win 2000.

Control panel -> power -> hibernate
Check the button (there should be only one).
