Hibernate still not showing up

I'm wondering if there are any other fixes for the Hibernate not appearing
problem. I've tried the fix in the Microsoft KB where you open the command
prompt and turn Hibernate on, but that hasn't worked. I also can't seem to
put the computer to Sleep. Not sure if these two things are related. I have,
unfortunately, optimized the hard disk (SATA).

I have an ASUS P5B Deluxe motherboard with a Core 2 64-bit Intel processor
and 4 GB of RAM (only 3 GB usable under Vista 32-bit right now).

Thanks for any other ideas.

Your monitor has to be compatible. Recent (several years back) monitors all
are.
You must also install the drivers for your monitor.

Then, you may have a different problem. Has it worked with Windows XP ?
