Hibernate problem, where's Hiberfil.sys, or how to create one?

Hi, I already got hibernation problems for a while (unreliable hibernation).
One tip I found was about unchecking the hibernate function in power properties, restart, defrag etc. Did that, and enabled the hibernate function again. In the same window you can see also that the available space was less after enabling.
After restarting the laptop, the hibernation now doesn't work at all. Now I found out that even while hibernation is enabled, there is no hiberfil.sys file on my laptop?!?
So, my question, how to get one? I already did the uncheck/restart/enable again thing again, but it doesn't work

Thanks

Niels

Well, I already considered that while searching for it, and I have "show hidden files and folders" enabled in the 'view' tab of folder options
But, while checking the names of these options, I see that there is another thing to uncheck "Hide protected operating system files", and yes, now I see the hiberfil.sys... :
But then, I still have a not hibernating laptop..
