hi really need some help here i have windows xp professionel sp2

my USB hub is not working at all and when i serach for it in the whole
windows it can't find it and write that:The drivers for this device are not
installed. (Code 28) this is the message i get when i try to use my hub
 
Install the XP drivers. They should be on the driver disk included with the
hardware.
 
No need for the drivers! XP has them built-in. Disconnect all USB devices,
including the hub. Then, in Device Manager, remove all USB ports, root hubs
and adapters. Then reboot and let XP re-detect everything. Then, try to
connect the hub.
