When clicking on IE icon the home page resets it's self
to www.search-for-you.com I've run Spyboot, McAfee
latest updates but to no avail. I do not seen to have
access to the 'use current' button under Internet Options
General. Any solutions would be gratefuilly received.

2. Run AV with the latest signatures to see if a virus can be found and
removed. In addition to the AV you have installed, you should run a scan
using one of the available online AV scanners:

Sounds a lot like a trojan. Also try out Zone Alarm
Personal Firewall -plus- Sygate Personal Firewall, plus Ad-
Aware. All free prog's. I have all three of the above
running to positive effect. (Oh! & whist at it, why not
also run AVG anti-virus).Good luck. Ricky
PS.. Check out Symantics on the web, Iv found their stuff
interesting.
